miNA - mock trailer

Mock trailer for my screeplay "Mina," a sequel to "Dracula" which finds Mina Harker trying to discover the truth about her ordeal with the count. Francis Ford Coppola's "Dracula" is a personal favorite, and its amazing score was an easy place from which to start conceiving the trailer's structure. Luckily most of that film's cast has aged in equal measure as their characters, so it was easier finding the appropiate footage from contemporary films and shows.

ole miss - mock trailer

Mock trailer for my screeplay "Ole Miss," made with a mix of real archival footage and film clips. The idea was to set up the story, stakes, and tone of the film, which is meant to play out as a docu-style, real-time drama. Many of the moments in the script exist as archival footage, so once I had a basic narrative, it was a matter of using a few select clips to fill in the gaps. Some judicious use of music completed the edit.

Margot Robbie's 1st red carpet interview with E! News. Produced, and edited for E! Entertainment's digital channel. I was given some premiere footage and asked to do a quick turnaround piece. Using the film's trailer as a starting point, I matched its style to create a quick-moving piece that had energy and impact.
